If a friend brought you to my home, I would invite you in.
If it was a nice day, we’d sit outside and listen to the birds while watching the children play. If it was a little chilly or you were more comfortable indoors, we’d sit by the picture window and enjoy the view.
Either way, I’d offer you tea or coffee. Here in Canada, that would mean hot tea. If you are from the south, I’d make you feel at home by offering ice tea just like my mom makes.
If a friend introduced us, I’d be your instant friend…

Reflections of a Survivor is my absolutely favourite room here. This is where we sit long and I tell you about our freedom in Christ. Yes, this is where you join me in the wild ride of leaving spiritual abuse and leaning hard on Jesus for healing.
Here’s a room where I visit with an old friend, John. He has been showing me just how much Jesus loves us and longs to be with us. You’ll like it here!
Now we come to Motherhood. You won’t be here long before this room becomes familiar. It’s another favourite!
Of course, you’ll need to know about this one, Chronic Pain. I used to hide this one, but I’ve learned to love it. Maybe you will, too?
