God Gave Me Geese

On the day when
Everything came crashing in,
I sought the Lord for peace.
And when I needed joy,
God gave me…

GEESE!

Look who passed by our place!

Our new neighbours!

And this?

This is how far I’ll go to get a closer shot!

It is also very, very enjoyable!

Oh, delightful! When I got to “And when I needed joy, God gave me.. geese!” it cracked me up! It is wonderful the little things He puts before us just at the right time, to touch and sooth, to bring a smile, even a laugh. He knows our needs, and His ways of meeting them can often be so surprising!

OH my gosh! I am SO the same way with geese! I hear them fly over my house all the time, and I just adore their honking.

They land on our house sometimes and wake us up in the morning.  Wow, they are loud birds!

I hope that mud dried up — No more flooding for you!!

I think I ruined a good pair of shoes that day. They were trapped in the mud along the way.  :)

Cold mud is so amazing.  The kid in me loves it–but not for long.  :-)  So happy God gives us just what we need.  I think even He laughs when giving us fun gifts.

We are neighbors today at the Wellspring. I love when God brings us little gifts to brighten our day, a reminder that He is there. Watching the geese must have been a joy. Now the mud on the other hand, I don’t know if I am brave enough:) Blessings!

I didn’t have time to be brave.  I didn’t even realize how muddy it was until I lost my shoes along the way! It was just another reason to laugh and receive more joy.

Lol! I love this, Tereasa:D  And I love sinking my feet into cool mud, (or sand)

    Have a blessed week!

How sweet your eyes and heart was opened to see God’s answer…so many times He give gifts…but we are not looking…love the geese gift…blessings to you~

Actually, I was not looking this time.  My children spied them walking across our lawn and their squeals of delight alerted me. They took my breath away and I had to get a picture.  I laughed and laughed as I chased them into the pond.  It was such a good surprise.
