Why I Need To Be Quiet

Amelia-blog-button
My fingers type, then hit delete.  The words will not come tonight. It is not sadness that stops me.  It is not fear. I have come to know suffering. I have written about it and have learned to rejoice in it. Tonight, I just need to be quiet.  Tonight, I want to be still and know that he is God… even when the little ones suffer.

Amelia’s family is at the Mayo Clinic this week.  Won’t you please pray for them while they wait for news?

You can read my thoughts on why we suffer at Turqouise Gates and follow Amelia’s story there. Please take the time to leave a comment for Genevieve and Amy to let them know you were there!

***Here is a recent update from Genevieve. It was posted today, June 13th.

You are wise to be quiet now. Sometimes, by His grace, I live that wisdom, and sometimes I push ahead instead, and waste precious time that could have held communion with Him on fruitless, exhausting efforts. Blessings and peace to you. Praying with you — in quietness.
